The women’s final of the Wimbledon tournament today (Saturday) will provide a historic moment for an entire nation, the only question being who will be responsible for it: Kazakh Elena Rybakina or Tunisian Rape Jabor.
For both of them this is the first Grand Slam final of their careers, and both can become the first representatives of their country to win the coveted title.
Jabor, ranked 3rd in the tournament, is the big story of Wimbledon.
At the age of 27, after years of waiting for a break-in, she finally looks at her peak and sweeps all Arab countries after her.
Jabor is the first Arab ever to appear in the Grand Slam final, and hopes to complete the task in the final to which she reached as a favorite.
Rybakina (17th in the tournament) will try to ruin the celebration and continue her wonderful performances, after defeating Simona Alp in the semi-finals and dropping only a battle in the tournament.
The 23-year-old tennis player only started representing Kazakhstan in 2018 and is actually a Russian living in Moscow, but also hopes to bring happiness to the country to which she now belongs.
