Akili added that he proved his presence with his first participation last year, when he won the governorate’s gold in the U-8 category and the Republic’s silver in the same year, after preparations and vigorous follow-up from his coach, in addition to the continuous search for modern ways of playing on the Internet with the aim of developing his level to succeed this year by achieving first place in my championship Lattakia and the Republic in the category of under 10 years.
Aqili expressed his happiness at joining the national team and representing it in the upcoming Arab championship, pointing out that he will do his best to achieve his ambition to raise the flag of Syria with his first Arab participation.
In turn, coach Muhammad Ali pointed out that his player Aqili is one of the most promising materials in the sport of chess that Latakia is rich in, and he has proven his presence within a short period at the governorate and republic levels, and is preparing for the next Arab Championship, which will be held in the tenth month in Damascus. He is expected to be a strong competitor in his category and be crowned with one of the sparkling medals.
