Sharon Drucker, coach of the women's team and his assistant Roi Lazar, today (Tuesday) determined the 14-player squad for the upcoming pair of games as part of the European Championship qualifiers.
As you know, the Israeli national team advanced to the championship and this is due to the fact that the games will be held in Israel from 15.6.2023.
The team will play two away games in this window on Thursday 24.11 in Sweden and 3 days later in Latvia.
The squad includes for the first time Jenny Sims as well as Alex Cohen and Alicia Barron, whom the PBA approved to play as Israelis and not as naturalized in the national team's uniform. The squad includes several graduates of the junior national teams who were very successful last summer. On the other hand, the squad lacks the players who play in colleges including Jordan and Lior Garzon and Romi Levy.
