World Cup: Gareth Bale banned from playing ... golf in Qatar

According to The Sun, the Welshman will not be able to practice his favorite sport, golf, during the World Cup in Qatar.


Wales manager Robert Page visited Doha Golf Club during a reconnaissance in Qatar in June to prepare for a round of golf for his team.

Unfortunately for Gareth Bale, the Welsh won't be able to practice in the end.

We had planned a round of golf.
