Frankfurt – The long wait is finally over.
Today, Thursday, November 10 at 12 p.m., Hansi Flick will announce the Germany squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The national coach is allowed to take 26 players with him.
Flick announced “one or two surprises” for the nomination.
Marco Reus will probably miss the World Cup due to injury.

At lunchtime on the DFB campus, Flick will solve the mystery of the German national team's World Cup squad.
The tournament begins ten days later.
Germany plays Japan in the first group match three days later.
Marco Reus will fail for the World Cup, as reported by Sky.
The Dortmund player is still injured on his right ankle.
The unlucky fellow already had to miss the 2014 World Cup due to a syndesmosis ligament tear in his left ankle.
The 33-year-old offensive player was also absent from the 2016 and 2021 European Championships.

Instead of Reus, BVB colleague Youssoufa Moukoko is nominated for the World Cup.
The striker has recently attracted attention with his strong performances and will celebrate his 18th birthday at the start of the World Cup on November 20th.
