The Senegalese Football Association announced the renewal of its contract with coach Aliou Cissé, days before representing his country in the 2022 World Cup.
The federation said in a statement on its official website that Cisse's contract was renewed for two years after his success in leading his country to crown the last African Nations Cup for the first time in their history, in addition to qualifying for the World Cup finals in Qatar.
Senegal suffered a painful blow with the injury of Bayern Munich star Sadio Mane during the match against Werder Bremen yesterday.
