Russian Daniil Medvedev advanced to the third round of the Australian Open tennis tournament after defeating Australian John Milliman.
The world number eight needed two hours and 19 minutes to decide the outcome of the match in his favor, and defeated his opponent Milliman in three clean sets, 7/5, 6/2, 6/2.
Medvedev will face in the next round of the first of the four Grand Slam tournaments, the American Sebastian Korda, who in turn defeated the Japanese Yosuke and Atanoki.
