A precedent in Israeli football.
The management of the football association unanimously approved today (Sunday) the temporary order to cancel section 22 (f) of the disciplinary regulations regarding the punishment of professional teams.
The decision reads: "In light of the recommendations of the Committee for Examining Reform in the Ways of Combating Riots at Soccer Games in Israel, the association's management decides to cancel Article 22 (f) of the disciplinary regulations regarding the punishment of professional teams until the end of the 2022/23 game season - that is, the court will not be allowed to punish a professional team with a penalty of a game without an audience".
It should be noted that the clauses talking about closing stands and reducing conditional points and actually reducing points will not be canceled.
