Half 1: Bayer Leverkusen - AS Roma 0:0 (0:1 to Roma in first match)

With just one win in the last five matches, Xabi Alonso's side know that through the Bundesliga they can qualify for the Conference League at most, so the Europa League is their last chance of securing a ticket to a higher promotion next season. Star Florian Wirtz, who has three goals and two assists in the knockout stages of the Europa League this season, returned to the line-up after coming off the bench in the 1-1 win against Stuttgart on Sunday, while Robert Endrich was absent after sustaining an injury in the previous encounter with Roma. Leverkusen have gone through two stages of the Europa League this season after failing to win the first of two matches, and will hope to do so tomorrow.

Jose Mourinho and his players are also faltering in Serie A and have not won in five matches, which could leave them out of the European competition next season if they do not win the competition. Roma, who are hoping to reach a second consecutive European final under Mourinho after winning the Conference League last year, have not scored in their last three away games on the international stage. Defender Chris Smalling has yet to recover from injury and remains on the bench, along with Paulo Dybala. Mourinho put two forwards in the line-up - Tammy Abraham and Andrea Belotti.

Half 1: Sevilla vs Juventus 0:0 (1:1 in first match)

Not only does not losing in Turin give the Andalusians a tailwind, but also the statistic that Sevilla have never finished a double encounter in the knockout stages of the Europa League by elimination with their second game at home – the record is 9 out of 9. Coach José Mendiliver has brought back goalkeeper Yassine Bounou and striker Youssef En-Nesyri, who rested 11-0 over Valladolid in La Liga three days ago, and will benefit from the services of Lucas Ocampos, who started after missing the same game due to a muscle injury.

Juventus are coming off a 3-0 win over Cremonese in the Italian league and will be missing Paul Pogba, who was injured in that game. Massimiliano Allegri came up with a fairly young line-up that includes Federico Gatti, Niccolò Pajolly and Samuel Ayling Jr. among others. Angel Di Maria in the 2th, and Moises Kane was preferred at the expense of Dušan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik.
