More than 116 thousand people visited the Damascus International Fair on the fifth day and followed its various economic, cultural and artistic activities, according to Ghassan Al-Fakiani, director of the General Organization for International Exhibitions and Fairs.
The Syrian pavilion and the handicraft pavilion witnessed a remarkable turnout from visitors to the exhibition as well as the Syrian pavilion for trade, which meant large numbers of visitors to buy school supplies on the eve of the start of the new school year.
Today, on the sidelines of the 19th Al-Basel Exhibition for Creativity and Invention, a number of lectures and a discussion session were held with inventors and businessmen, while Syrian artist Othaina Al-Ali performed a concert on the stage of the exhibition. With the event warmly and applause.
