A distinctive heritage design for the Arabian Horse Pavilion at Damascus International Fair

The Arabian Horse Pavilion at the Damascus International Fair attracted the attention of different age groups of visitors to the exhibition with its distinctive heritage design that embodied the originality of Syrian equestrianism and its heritage.

Documents and pictures of the Syrian Arabian horses and the heritage environment in which these horses originated for many years have stopped visitors to the pavilion who have been acquainted with the heritage of Syrian horses and ways of preserving them for decades.

Director of the Arabian Horses Bureau at the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Eng. We have allowed visitors to view the horses up close and ride them to those who want to contribute to the increase of equestrian enthusiasts and thus expand its base by acquisition and expansion breeding.

Al Shayeb added that we are preparing to hold the second international auction for horses after the auction which was held a few days ago on the sidelines of the exhibition. The auction was held with the participation of 16 Arab horses.

It is noteworthy that Syria joined the World Arabian Horse Organization (WAHO) in 1989 and published the first genealogy of purebred Arabian horses in 1990 and continued in these publications regularly.
