Iran is one of the safest countries in the world despite threats against it, the head of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major-General Mohammad Baqeri said.
The news agency IRNA quoted Bagheri as saying today, "We are witnessing in the region the atrophy of the influence of America and the Zionist entity as the axis of resistance advances," pointing out in this regard that Syria and Iraq were able to defeat terrorism from large areas of their territory.
On the other hand, Bagheri affirmed his country's support for Yemen, denying the allegations made by some about sending missiles to this country.
