Page changer Philip Lee: The rebellion

Vote for the No Deal - or you can go: Before this election, Boris Johnson asked the Conservative MPs who did not want to follow him. Some have outgrown themselves.

Chaos - not a word more often to describe British politics in Brexit. The amazing thing is how neat and well-mannered this chaos sometimes takes place before the world public.

When Prime Minister Boris Johnson loses his parliamentary majority, conservative MP Philip Lee - who has never made his appearance so conspicuously - literally shifts sides during a speech from his chief in the House of Commons: He simply climbs one of the green-cushioned Parliament bunkers in the House of Commons, where the Liberal Democrat Group sits.

Rebellion by the bank.

If a conservative like Philip Hammond, party member for 45 years, five times he was Minister, crucifixed and reliable, goes to the barricades, it goes like this:

Hammond is one of the rebels who refuse Johnson's no-deal command, he was expelled from the faction, should no longer be allowed to run in his constituency.

But that does not want to accept the gray eminence of the Tories - not unlike in appearance and voice Thomas de Maizière -. He does not yell, he does not puff himself up, but announces in a radio interview very civilized to the Prime Minister the "fight of my life": "This is my party, I will defend it against all who want to make from this People's Party a group of interests."
