Australian researcher Tim Anderson, a professor of political science at the University of Sydney, said his book "Dirty War on Syria" aims to uncover the reality of what is happening in Syria to the Western Street and how to plan and work to wage the terrorist war on this country since 2011 and the campaign of deception that accompanied it.
During a meeting with professors and students at Damascus University today, Anderson reviewed the reasons that led him to write his book, which was printed in seven foreign languages. The Syrian army presents what is going on as a "civil war and that the West intervenes to correct the situation and fight extremist forces."
The Australian researcher said that the United States targeted the Syrian Arab Army positions in Deir ez-Zor intentionally to open the way for ISIS terrorists in a move that indicates its sponsorship and support for terrorist organizations, noting that he achieved and confirmed the aggression through his meetings with the people of the region and soldiers of the Syrian Army.
The meeting was organized by the General Federation of Trade Unions and the Damascus University branch of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, Dr. Mohammed Maher Qabakibi, the university president, Dr. Khaled Halbouni, the university branch secretary of the Baath Socialist Party, members of the branch leadership and head of Damascus University branch of the National Union of Syrian Students.
The Arab Center for Research and Studies (MADAD) issued in 2016 the Arabic translation of the book, which is translated and presented by Nahed Tajeddine.
