BAGHDAD - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced his intention to annex Palestinian land from the West Bank, stressing that it is a very dangerous occupation step that could escalate tensions in the region.
"The announcement is an aggressive step and comes within the framework of racist settlement policy based on the deprivation of the rights of the Palestinian people," ministry spokesman Ahmed al-Sahaf said in a statement.
