In turn, the civil campaign in support of Palestine and the causes of the nation condemned the remarks of US Treasury Secretary Marshall Billingsley during his visit to Lebanon and the implied malicious incitement, pointing out that this confirms its blatant interference in Lebanon's internal affairs.
The civil campaign said in a statement after its meeting today in Beirut that Billingsley's statements clearly reveal that the enemies of Lebanon and its resistance are seeking to price the financial and economic war against Lebanon after the failure of their previous military, security and political wars.
