The General Authority of Daraa Hospital has reactivated the operations of laparoscopic urinary surgery which stopped during the crisis years.

Dr. Bassel Al-Hussein, urologist at the General Authority of Daraa Hospital, told SANA today that the authority has re-activated the urology department in full and is currently conducting all operations, both traditional and endoscopic, indicating that the management of the body has provided all the work requirements for the urological laparoscopic hall.

`` We are currently conducting urological laparoscopic surgery from bulldozing bladder tumors and prostatectomy through endoscopy.We are seeking to break up stones through the endoscope and by a hydro-dynamic device, '' Al-Hussein said, stressing that the medical staff is making great efforts to provide all possible services to the people of the province.

Dr. Bassam Al-Hariri, Director General of the Authority, said in a similar statement that the Authority is seeking within its work plans to expand its services to patients, noting that the Authority has rehabilitated one of the endoscopic devices that have been vandalized during the years of crisis and put him in the service of patients, pointing to the availability of all the requirements of urological laparoscopic surgery equipment and staff .

As part of its future plans, the Authority is seeking to rehabilitate the maternity and pediatric hospitals and maintain the 14-room operating ward.
