King Charles flew back from Norfolk to London by helicopter, where he joined Princess Kate at the clinic where he was having his prostate operation.

What comes next.

London – The 75-year-old King Charles III.

returned to London by helicopter from Norfolk shortly before his scheduled prostate operation.

On Thursday, January 25, he was taken by car to Clarence House, his London residence, from which he went to The London Clinic on Friday, according to mirror.co.uk.

It's the same luxury clinic where Princess Kate is currently recovering from last week's abdominal surgery.

“The King was admitted to a London hospital this morning for planned treatment.”

It was a matter of honor that King Charles first visited his daughter-in-law to personally see for himself the progress she was making in her recovery.

Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “The King was admitted to a London hospital this morning for planned treatment.”

He continued: “His Majesty would like to thank all those who have sent their good wishes to him over the past week and is pleased to learn that his diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness.”

Charles and Camilla jetted off to his Norfolk estate just last week after spending a lot of time in Scotland since the start of 2024.

King Charles had communicated the corrective treatment and need for many people his age with unusual openness in order to motivate other men to undergo timely check-ups.

Professor Damien Bolton, Vice President of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand, explained the nature and frequency of such procedures at

, emphasizing their typically minimally invasive nature and the high number of annual occurrences: “These procedures are typically minimally invasive and do not require any incisions carried out.

An estimated 25,000 procedures are carried out each year,” explained Professor Bolton.

This is what happens after the operation for Charles III.

further: hospital stay of one to two nights, then 14 days of rest

According to the professor, the king will likely stay in hospital for one to two nights, followed by a recovery period at home of 10 to 14 days.

During this time, Charles is advised to take it easy and avoid strenuous activity, although he may do light work from the comfort of his own home.

Condolences are high: as King Charles prepares for his procedure, the nation sends its best wishes for his speedy recovery and return to his royal duties.

This went so far that, during a visit to the Art Gallery in Aberdeen, Queen Camilla told the mayor, who had politely inquired about the king's condition: "He's fine, thank you very much."

“He’s looking forward to getting back to work,” revealed the former long-term lover.
