The topic of the day: The extreme right danger in Germany
The attack on Halle is a turning point - it is already the second this year: Only the murder of the Kassel district president Walter Lübcke. He was the first politician to fall victim to a right-wing extremist attack after 1945. Now, almost in a synagogue, there would have been a massacre. Only one door prevented the attacker from entering the building. He killed two passersby. Meanwhile, the 27-year-old alleged perpetrator confessed and granted a right-wing motive.

The deed shows that the right-wing extremist threat is increasing in Germany. Jews have to fear for their lives again. We face a new form of attack: The perpetrator was radicalized in a parallel world of right-wing extremist Internet forms, broadcasting the live version on the net. The security authorities are not yet set on it - are sometimes powerless.

The Federal Government has agreed on an increase in the aviation tax: long-haul flights could be taxed in the future with 54 euros per ticket.
