Czechs stop arms exports to Turkey

Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Jan Hamaczik announced that his country has stopped issuing licenses to export weapons to the Turkish regime against the backdrop of its aggression on Syrian territory.

This position was adopted during a meeting with Prime Minister Andrei Babich and Minister of Industry and Trade Karl Havlicek.

Earlier in the day, the Czech Foreign Ministry summoned the ambassador of the Turkish regime to Prague.

France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Finland have suspended the export of any new arms shipments to the Turkish regime following its aggression on Syrian territory.
