The authorities of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have arrested 24 people for their opposition and criticism of the Turkish aggression on Syrian soil in the context of the regime's repressive measures against you and prevent them from expressing their opposition to his policies, especially with regard to this aggression.

The Anatolia news agency reported that 24 people were arrested for criticizing the "Turkish military operation in Syria" through social media as well as for what they called "inciting hatred and hostility among the public and spreading propaganda for a terrorist organization."

The regime authorities arrested on January 10, journalist Hakan Demir, head of the Pergon website as part of a campaign to suppress opponents of this aggression.

Turkish regime forces have launched an aggression on Syrian territory in the villages of Hasaka and Raqqa with aerial and artillery shelling that targeted many villages and towns in the city, focusing on infrastructure and vital facilities such as water and electricity stations, dams, oil installations and residential neighborhoods, causing the death of a number of civilians and causing extensive damage and destruction of infrastructure.
