DAMASCUS, (SANA) - The Damascus Provincial Council issued on Tuesday a decision to collect a service allowance for cars operating on transportation lines abroad

Damascus Governorate Council today issued a decision to collect a service allowance for cars operating on external transport lines, which exchange traffic routes among them a financial fee of 250 thousand Syrian pounds for the treasury of Damascus governorate.

The decision stipulated that in the event of the request of two Syrian cars duly registered at the center of the launch of the unified Lebanon and Jordan and working on external transport lines to exchange routes between them duly, a financial fee of 250 thousand pounds will be collected for the benefit of the governorate treasury.

Member of the Executive Office of the Planning, Budget and Finance Sector Faisal Sorour told SANA that the decision is not compulsory but for those who wish. Or vice versa.

Sorour pointed out that if this condition is met, the car will be approved and the applicant will pay 250 thousand Syrian pounds for the two cars for the treasury of the governorate.
