LONDON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump is trying to interfere in British elections to win Prime Minister Boris Johnson, opposition Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn said on Tuesday.
Trump is trying to intervene in the British election to elect his friend Johnson, Corbin said in a Twitter tweet on Tuesday.
This was in response to Trump's press statements in which he attacked the leader of the British Labor Party, describing him as an "invalid candidate" to head the British government, expressing his support for Johnson.
Early parliamentary elections are due to be held in Britain on December 12.
