Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said that some of the demonstrators took the demonstrations as a human shield for the purposes of sabotage, pointing out that burning houses and disrupting the sectors of education and health can not be counted on the right of peaceful demonstration under any circumstances.
He stressed in a speech today after meeting with ministers and governors that there are multiple ways to express opinion without disrupting life, pointing out that the disruption of the oil sector is causing severe damage to the country and citizens.
Abdul Mahdi called for the adoption of the 2020 budget quickly to prevent the disruption of the resources of sectors, pointing out that the constitutional amendment in Iraq can amount to change the nature of the political system and change the electoral law in full, stressing the need to go to achieve the legitimate demands of the demonstrators politically and economically.
