The SME Development Authority opened its first shopping festival in Lattakia governorate with the participation of about 60 events in the sectors of food and textile industries, detergents and cosmetics in addition to heritage textiles from different governorates at the Alma Hotel on the roundabout of agriculture.
Deputy Director Walid Al-Khaldi told reporters that the festival is a continuation of the program to support these projects in marketing to link the product with the consumer without intermediaries and open new markets in the provinces, especially during the period of recovery in Syria and devote to the support given by the government for these projects as one of the pillars of supporting the national economy. By focusing on quality and specialization and reducing production costs.
For his part, Yassin Sakka, co-founder of Taj Anbar, said that the festivals allow small and medium-sized enterprises to spread on a wider geographical basis by promoting products at low costs compared to advertising, as well as enabling consumers to get acquainted with these products, which allows to obtain consumer confidence and satisfaction pointing out that He moved his project to the production of soaps mixed with perfumes and natural oils and aspires to reach the product to foreign markets.
For his part, Adel Qutaish said that he started his project to produce food with a simple loan to move thanks to the continuous work and the will to employ more than 30 workers, stressing that it depends on the production of natural and agricultural materials known in the province of endosperm.
