Hand in hand today launched the vocational training project 2019, which aims to train 150 participants and people with special needs to hold courses on tourism and entrepreneurship, including construction and reconstruction, beauty courses and makeup for girls at the association's vocational training center in Hanano area in Aleppo city.
Dr. Khair al-Din Tarsha, a member of the General Assembly in the Assembly that the project aims to train participants and people with special needs and secure job opportunities for them, which is integrated with the rest of the projects implemented by the Assembly, including the manufacturing of motor aids and artificial limbs.
Luna Abdul Rahim, the project's administrative officer, said the project's areas were well received by the local community and all ages.
Manal Tohme explained that she trained in the profession of women shaving, beauty and make-up by following two training courses and gained the necessary experience to develop herself in any work she could do.
It is noteworthy that the hand in hand started to care for children and people with special needs since 2007 and has qualified cadres to train children and people with disabilities and help them to integrate into society and working on the manufacture and production of motor aids and prosthetics and provide them to the needy.
