On the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the Syrian Association of the United Nations held a symposium entitled “One hundred years and the Palestinian issue in the custody of international organizations… Where to…” at the Arab Cultural Center in “Abu Rummana” in Damascus.
A member and founder of the Association, Dr. Suhail Malazi, gave a presentation on the most important resolutions issued by the United Nations and did not implement anything, especially on the Palestinian issue, pointing to the stages of the United Nations since it was under the name of the League of Nations to date.
For his part, member of the Association and professor at Damascus University, Dr. Ibrahim Said drew to the negativity of international organizations in dealing with the cause of the Palestinian people and the support received by the entity of the Zionist occupation by it.
The seminar was attended by cultural, scientific and social events.
The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People falls on November 29 of each year.
