Greenpeace activists claim they removed the letter on the glass façade of the Konrad Adenauer House on Thursday morning - this is now contradicted by Twitter on CDU General Secretary Paul Ziemiak.
"We were lucky again!", Writes Ziemiak. The original "C" was in Leipzig at the party convention of the CDU. "Greetings to Berlin," he wrote further and poses in a photo next to a larger than life C.

The remaining "DU" supplemented the activists with a lettering on the glass facade: "You should protect the climate".
