This time, the district board elections are very important. The people of Hong Kong need to use their votes to prove that they are rational and will not decide whether to support them emotionally or in retaliation. Politics is not a one-off event. It must be a long-term work. It is not appropriate to be politically passionate or to vote as a venting act. The people of Hong Kong have already paid a lot in the conflict caused by the amendment of the Anti-Fugitives Ordinance. They should not be sacrificed again. On the contrary, after these months of riots, the district council should be the best way for everyone to return to reason.

A major feature of this election is the emergence of a group of political amateurs after June. They may have experienced millions of people marching and many conflicts, arguing that they should pass the district board elections to punish the establishments that they regard as government avatars. It is justifiable to accuse the establishments of being a government affiliation. However, it is a bit far-fetched to "punish" the district board members to which they belong. To replace any district board members, the only reason is that they do not have a good job in the district, or have better district board representatives. It is unwise to find a personal replacement because of the "identity" problem. This view can also be applied to the current incumbent MPs. Some people with extreme ideas think that they have not stood at the forefront of the struggle, and they have not even "protected" the brave martial arts, so they have to be replaced. With such an impulsive imagination, it is irrational to decide whether or not to vote for yourself.

In the past few months, many young people have been eager to take to the streets to fight, and many citizens have been deeply touched. But as violent conflicts continue to occur, it is clear to everyone that the cost of impulsive impulses will come. If you follow the impulse of young people and use your votes as a venting tool, it is even more unreasonable. We believe that, except for a few individual cases, all the airborne elements who are suddenly selected for election should not be the object of support for everyone in this District Council election. The District Councils serve the community. We are happy to see aspiring newcomers bring new imaginations and ideas to community development, but it should not be suddenly "careful" when the election comes. Therefore, for the airborne people, they are encouraged to continue to take root in the community, focus on improving people's livelihood, let the voters see and experience their efforts, and prove that they have the ability to work as district board members. After four years, everyone can review again whether they should vote for them.

Many current District Council members are able to actively participate in community work, and voters should use their performance to measure whether they continue to support. In the current extremely political and exciting social atmosphere, they should even continue to receive support. They include candidates from different political parties such as the Democratic Party, the DAB, the Federation of Trade Unions, the Street Workers, the ADPL, the Citizens' Party or the New Democratic Party, and the Real Round Table. Some people may think that this approach is too conservative. Our view is exactly the opposite. After experiencing a very abnormal life in the near future, the mainstream voice of the society is the method of returning to the system to seek to change the dilemma. The district board election is for everyone. A frozen towel wipes the surface, everyone should calm down and cast a sacred vote.

After a period of ups and downs, Hong Kong is calming down. The public should think together about how to make reforms that cannot be delayed. This district board election is a key process for the rational return. We are convinced that Hong Kong people can rationally face the choice of the road ahead, rather than endlessly indulging in social confrontation and conflict.
