Music, theatrical and hymns were presented by dozens of children during the event held by the Church of Jesus the King for the Capuchin Fathers in Sweida today on the occasion of Saint Barbara and the birth of Jesus Christ.

Nine-year-old Musa Waqas said he was delighted to be present at the event to spread the concepts of love and cooperation in the community, while 11-year-old Jad Al-Mespir explained that the event, along with its entertainment aspect, earned them values ​​by learning about the life of Saint Barbara and Jesus and inviting him to love. And peace.

One of the supervisors of the event, Hala Al-Jaber, pointed out that the faces of the children were painted in color to bring joy to their hearts with the distribution of gifts and boiled wheat to symbolize the life of Saint Barbara.

Father Fadi Ziadeh pointed out that this event is an affirmation that we are advocates of peace and joy for the whole world and carry a message to raise children to be founded on love and to live a healthy social, human and moral life and are represented by the values ​​and teachings of Christ.
