(CNN) - The Judicial Commission of the House of Representatives discussed two charges of political trial against the president of the United States, Donald Trump, until Thursday night before the commission's president, Jerry Nadler, postponed the final vote for Friday morning.
The commission was expected to approve charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress against the president in two votes on Thursday, after a controversial and lengthy debate in which lawmakers faced charges against Trump and the repercussions of voting for Take it to political trial.
Instead, Republicans broke out against Nadler when he announced that the vote would take place until 10 am Friday.
