(CNN) - President Donald Trump says he will handle any "Christmas gifts" that North Korea has reserved for the United States.
He said the gift will not necessarily be bad.

“Maybe it's a good gift. Maybe it's a gift where he sends me a beautiful vase instead of a missile test, ”Trump told reporters in Mar-a-Lago after talking to US troops by teleconference.
Trump said he was ready to respond to what Pyongyang can do in the next few days or weeks.
“Everyone has surprises for me. I drive it as it progresses, ”Trump said.
