On the evening of Christmas Eve (24th), netizens launched a "Sing with You and Willing to Return to Hong Kong Safely" campaign in multiple district shopping malls. Conflicts broke out in Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories. Demonstrators damaged glass doors and display windows of HSBC and Hang Seng Bank on Nathan Road, Mong Kok, and police fired tear gas to disperse the protesters.

HSBC and Hang Seng Bank this morning (25th) sealed the damaged glass with a fence, and workers repaired it. There were still tear shells inside HSBC.

The demonstrators were dissatisfied with HSBC's earlier termination of the Spark Alliance account, so they repeatedly destroyed HSBC's Mong Kok branch and arson, and wrote protest words on the exterior wall; Hang Seng Bank of the same group was not spared.

Workers repaired at two banks this morning and erected a two-meter-high fence. Inside HSBC, a tear gas cartridge remains on the ground. It can be seen at the scene that the bank's CCTV and fire sprinkler heads were all shattered. As for Hang Seng Bank, there are workers who use Tiantianshui to clean the exterior wall, and security guards are stationed outside the door.

In addition to HSBC and Hang Seng Bank, Starbucks, a subsidiary of Maxim's Group on the 4th floor of Langham Place, was also damaged. Staff cleared and counted this morning, and reopened in the afternoon but a cash register failed to operate. However, at 4 pm, some people gathered in Langham Place, and Starbucks suspended business again.

After last night's demonstration, traffic lights on multiple sections of Nathan Road in Mong Kok were damaged again. Police cars were stationed on Nathan Road. Outsourcers dispatched workers to repair the traffic. There was no major disruption in the traffic.
