The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior indicated that all public roads in the governorates are impassable, with the exception of several roads that are difficult to pass in the provinces of Damascus and Al-Suwayda due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The administration clarified in its publication this evening that all roads in the Damascus countryside governorate are impassable except for the Maaloula Salik road with snowfall, Rinkus Road and Al-Jubba Salkan with difficulty due to snow accumulation, in addition to the Sahnaya Road, Town Center Road, the Palace of Conferences, and the Khirbet Al Ward Road, all of which are difficult to clear due to the gathering of rain water.
And in the Douma area .. All roads leading to the city are clear, with pools of water at the first and second ferries and panorama towards Al-Duwailah, impeding traffic.
And in the Al-Zabadani area .. All roads in the area are impassable with light snow accompanying the rain without interrupting any road.
In the areas of Al-Tal, Qatana, Al-Nabek, Yabroud, and Al-Qutaifah, all roads leading to it are clear, the weather is rainy and accompanied by snow.
All major international roads in the Damascus countryside are impassable.
And in the province of As-Suwayda .. All roads in the governorate are clear except for Al-Mashnaf Road, the mountain appeared and the roads leading to Al-Mashnaf side and its villages are all difficult because of the accumulation of snow.
And the path of unbelief is salty, and the arched path. The mountain appeared to be difficult, due to thick fog.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to inspect the readiness of their cars before traveling, especially brakes, wipers, lights for fog, and to reduce speed at turns, slopes, road joints, tunnels, bridges, and driving with caution in order to avoid accidents, indicating that they had assigned numbers 5422703 and 5411365 to inquire about the condition of the roads.
