About two weeks after the original date, the gas flow from the whale reservoir, located about 10 km west of Dor Beach, is expected to depart this morning.

Nobel Energy has confirmed to Israel Today that Vice President Bini Sommer will be present in the area during the settlement process. Sommer will oversee the procedure, and his presence should also send a reassuring message to area residents who are concerned that the bail procedure is carrying an unusual infection.

At this stage, the first two wells will be opened, out of the four reservoir wells, and natural gas will first be flowed to the treatment rig. The brewing operation - under which natural gas will gradually compress nitrogen in the pipeline, and then nitrogen and nitrogen mixed with gas through a dedicated facility at the far end of the rig - is expected to begin around 7 a.m. and last for up to eight hours.

At the end of the weekend or early next week, the second round will take place: the remaining two wells will also open. Gas exports to Egypt are expected to begin in January.

Egypt is waiting

The court and the Ministry of the Environment have determined that there are no allegations by the local authorities and some of the green organizations about unusual pollution. According to Noble, the pollutant dispersion model "unequivocally indicates" that the incremental emission on the coast as a result of the rig run, relative to the initial state before it was activated, "is expected to be minimal."

This is a concentration that will reach a maximum of 0.135 micrograms per cubic meter - "a concentration significantly lower than the ambient value and aquatic target for permanent benzene", which is 3.9 micrograms per cubic meter. That is, only about 3%.

Egypt is waiting for natural gas to be supplied through the QSA pipeline for the next two weeks. According to the agreement, 7BCM of natural gas will be supplied annually for 15 years, and Jordan will supply half that amount.

Apart from that, the electricity company is one of the big customers, along with private customers of the reservoir.

The fall in electricity prices that will begin tomorrow has taken into account, among other things, the low price the electricity company will pay for natural gas from whaling.

Local authorities in the area have announced that schooling in the area will be conducted as usual, and there is no eviction order.

The Sharon-Carmel City Association and the Ministry of the Environment will conduct continuous monitoring of stations scattered throughout the area. Nonetheless, the "Housekeepers" organization, which is leading the fight against the rally, is urging residents to evacuate from the area and conduct a demonstration in front of the Kiriya building in Tel Aviv under the title "Evacuees wrapped in a whale, a huge demonstration in Tel Aviv".

Members of the association added that "the settlements are just the beginning, and now we have an advance warning. The poisoning of the rig must be stopped."

On the other hand, Director of the Ministry of the Environment Guy Smet recently said about the expected protest action: "Do not run away to Tel Aviv, where more polluted. Stay on the Carmel Coast. "
