The Iraqi demonstrators continued their sit-in today in front of the American embassy in Baghdad, condemning the American aggression against the headquarters of the popular crowd, which left dozens of martyrs and wounded.

Dozens of Iraqi demonstrators gather opposite the embassy, renewing their calls to close it and expelling the American ambassador from Iraq.

The frequency of protests in front of the American embassy in Baghdad escalated yesterday, as the demonstrators burned two doors and its garage, while dozens of demonstrators were injured by tear gas canisters fired from inside the embassy.

To that, the deputy from the Alliance of Al-Fath Saad Al-Khazali revealed that he collected parliamentary signatures to remove the American forces from Iraq and cancel the security agreement with the United States.

Khazali said in an interview with Alsumaria News today that "the year 2020 will be the title of the absence of the American forces in Iraq," stressing that the country's sovereignty is a red line for all who lie in wait for evil in Iraq and its people.

Khazali added, "We collected signatures and submitted them in order to include the law of removing American forces on the agenda of the sessions ... We will work with all force to pass the law."

The popular crowd in Iraq announced last Sunday that sites belonging to it had been bombed by American planes marching west of Anbar province, which resulted in martyrs and wounded among the crowd, which sparked popular protests in front of the American embassy in Baghdad to condemn the American aggression.
