Cairo - Sana
Today, the emergency permanent office of the Arab Lawyers Union, held in Cairo, strongly condemned the mandate of the Turkish parliament, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to send military forces to Libya.
The Union said in a statement: “The mandate comes within the suspicious Turkish moves in the Arab region, which began to occupy areas in northern Syria under the collusion of the international community’s eyes. Dividing Libya and threatening its Arab neighborhood in Egypt and Algeria.
The permanent office called on official and popular international and Arab organizations to intervene swiftly to stop any possible Turkish aggression on Libyan soil, preserve the unity of Libya's national territory, and protect the wealth of Libyans from looting.
