Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif announced that the martyrdom of General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force in the Revolutionary Guards, would leave traces and consequences that no one can contain and that all of its consequences will be borne by the terrorist American administration.
Zarif stressed, in a phone call today with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, on the terrorist nature of the American aggression that led to Soleimani’s martyrdom and said that “given the great popularity that martyr Soleimani enjoys among the peoples of the region and because of his role in combating terrorist groups, the aggression will leave traces and consequences. No one can contain it and the American terrorist regime is responsible for all of its consequences. ”
In turn, Guterres expressed his concern about this American measure, stressing that it leads to an escalation of tension in the region.
