In his telegram to Imam Khamenei, President Al-Assad said: We have received with great sadness and sorrow the news of the martyrdom of a constellation of resistance leaders, headed by Major General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force, who spent his life in the national work, serving his country, the axis of resistance, and the right issues of peoples and in combating terrorism and its supporters.
