38-year-old Moti Ben Shabbat and father of an 11-year-old girl, is the hero of the day he has paid in his life after dropping flooding in Nahariya. Shabbos helped civilians who got stuck with their vehicles in the flood in the northern city, but in the end his strength was not up to him and he drifted into the flood and found his death.

"Suddenly I noticed that Moti was gone, I started to scream for divers to look for him in depth. Moti told me a moment before he drifted off that he felt he was running out of power and was going to pass out. He drifted ashore through the drainage pipe - not wanting to think what he was going through in those moments.

"I shouted to her to help us and Shmutti came back alive, but God wanted another," Cohen said. "If there was no fence, too, I would be carried away with it, I was saved by a miracle. We were good friends. I don't believe I'm talking about him in the past tense. It's unimaginable, a person comes down from home to help others - and never comes back."
