Following the Iranian missile attack on US bases in Iraq, the US FAA on Wednesday banned US flights from US airlines flying in Iran, Iraq, Persian Gulf and Oman Bay. The announcement referred to planes from the United States, but other countries would also ban the region's flight for fear of damaging their planes.

Most companies have already changed flight routes over the past year in order not to cross over Iran and Iraq, but some companies have continued to fly in these areas to this day.

Meanwhile, British Airways, which flew over Iran, announced this morning that it is changing the route to the Far East and will fly over Turkey to bypass Iraq's airspace. The "Scott" company flew over Iran on a route between Singapore and Berlin, and it would also change the route accordingly. Kuwait Airways will make changes to its route to London so as not to enter Iraq's airspace. Air France has announced that it is suspending all its flights over the regions of Iran and Iraq.

Other and very large companies that announced today that they will not fly over Iran's airspace are "Singapore Airlines", which is considered one of the world's leading airlines, "China Airlines" and "Malaysia Airlines".

At the same time, the Emirates canceled its flights to Baghdad today due to the security situation in the region.

The company said: "We are reviewing the situation in the area and will be updating with the relevant authorities. If there are any changes or provisions, we will act accordingly."

The Australian "Kantas" is also reportedly recalculating its flight routes according to the situation in the region - and will avoid flying over Iran and Iraq. The Taiwanese "EVA" company has decided not to fly over the region, along with all the other major companies that have been flying bypass for quite some time following tensions with Iran.

In addition, the Russian Air Transport Agency recommends that airlines not fly in the airspace of Iraq, Iran and the Gulf.
