The Ministerial Committee in charge of following up the implementation of development and service projects in the Deir Al-Zour Governorate headed by Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Eng. The Director of Education in Deir Al-Zour, Khalil Hajj Obaid, explained that the educational reality in the province has made great strides, both in terms of the number of schools involved in service, which numbered 310, schools that include more than 120 thousand students, or in terms of quality of education and the provision of educational requirements, pointing out that the Black School Hilal includes 500 male and female students and was rehabilitated in cooperation with an international organization at a cost of 11 million Syrian pounds.

In the city of Al-Mayadeen, the committee placed the Syrian Trade Hall in service and reviewed the progress of work in a number of government departments and ongoing work to rehabilitate the commercial market and the third sector of government irrigation.

The Director of Operation and Maintenance of Irrigation Projects in the Lower Euphrates Basin, Eng. Ahmed Youssef, pointed out that the third sector project irrigates 7 villages in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor with an area of ​​about 11 thousand hectares and was rehabilitated with contracts concluded with the military construction and military housing institutions within 6 months with a value of more than 1 400 billion liras.

The tour was attended by members of the Committee, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Rima Qadri, Tourism Muhammad Rami Radwan Martini, Governor of Deir Al-Zour Abdul Majeed Al-Kawakibi and a number of members of the People's Assembly.
