Democratic voice in the Democratic Party

Take care of yours

Former Secretary of State John Kerry never thought he would face protesters who say he is not doing enough for the Palestinians. He opposed those who said the US should not interfere in the conflict, publicly supported the two-state solution, the settlement evacuation, and the idea of Jerusalem as a joint capital for both peoples. Even in his State Department speech, he mentioned "ending the occupation." Not only did he devote much of his job to the Palestinian issue, He was also one of the leaders of the American decision not to veto an anti-Israel decision in the UN.
But a few days ago, while speaking at a rally in support of the Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden, his speech interrupted anti-Israel activists who waved "Palestinian should be free" signs or "end Israeli injustice." These were extremist left-wing activists,
"Jewish Voice for Peace" is his name, which opposes the very existence of a Jewish state in the Land of Israel. These days of presidential elections, this organization, and other leftist organizations, are demanding that candidates change their attitude to Israel. The more moderate ones demand that aid be conditional on Israel, a "Jewish voice for peace" wants to stop altogether.
Kerry has shown in words and deeds that he is willing to compromise Israel's good for the illusion of peace with the Palestinians. But for the US leftist organizations, this is not enough. They will not stop until the State of Israel ceases to exist, at least as a Jewish state, as evidenced by their firing "from the sea to the river (Middle Jordan), Palestine will be liberated."
A minority of Democratic candidates in the presidential elections have already embraced the proposal to condone aid to Israel. They are the left-most marker of the party, but are gradually finding their way to the center. Now two options come to mind. One is that extremist activists will persuade the party members with their delusional vision, and the second is that the moderate democratic majority will realize that these anti-Semitic groups have gone very far, bringing anti-Semitic districts and Israel's liberation into existential threats.
The risk inherent in the first option is too great, so we have to put the mask on the face of the anti-Israeli elements in the Democratic Party. We must explain that even though their signs are crying out for justice and freedom, their vision means the elimination of the State of Israel as a Jewish state and the cessation of aid to Israel, and allowed at a disadvantage, exposed to attacks. The fact that these delusional ideas have reached the edge of legitimacy in American politics is cause for concern. This is a voice that should be assigned because of disgust. In fact, he should be credited for any other call to abandon allies and partners in the name of politics.
