Muhammad Zuhair Kharbutli said that securing the main transformer will work to rehabilitate the fifth group in the station, where the tension will be raised from 15 KV to 230 KV, with a capacity of 275 MVA, in addition to the take-off transformer for the five groups of the Aleppo thermal power plant, which is By reducing stress from 66 to 6.1 kV.
Eng. Kharbutli told reporters that these installations have other accessories that will be secured during the coming days, pointing to the station's role in reducing rationing and recycling of the economic, industrial and tourism wheel in the province.
In turn, Mazen Sumayaqia, the general manager of the thermal station in Aleppo, explained that the presence of the main and transformer transformers is an important step for the rehabilitation of the station that was destroyed by terrorism, because these two transformers must be present, especially that the transformative transformer will secure the electrical feeding of the groups ’installations in the thermal station, and thus the extent of the damage And reform it with national, local expertise.
Eng. Khalil Oso pointed out the importance of continuing the work and rehabilitating the thermal station in Aleppo, which was operating with a capacity of 1065 megawatts before it was sabotaged by terrorism, and this was confirmed by the engineer Fatima Hamallo, who said we were waiting for this starting step in the arrival of these transformers and cut off the switch to be a successful start until you return The thermal station to work again.
