The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed the importance of holding the international conference on Libya on the 19th of this month in the German capital, Berlin.
Sputnik said that the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed in a statement today after talks between the Russian President's Special Envoy to the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Boganov and Libyan Ambassador to Moscow Mustafa Abu Saida, "the importance of the need for an early settlement of the Libyan crisis through a comprehensive dialogue between the parties."
The German Foreign Minister Haikou Maas announced earlier today that the Libyan Army Commander, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar agreed to abide by the ceasefire and expressed his readiness to participate in an upcoming international conference next Sunday on Libya in Berlin.
And earlier in the Russian capital, Moscow, talks were held on a ceasefire in Libya between Russian Foreign and Defense Minister Sergey Lavrov, Sergei Shoygo, Foreign Minister, Turkish Defense and the Libyan Army Commander Hifter and head of government
