Editing: Asaf DruryJordan's parliament called Sunday to cancel the gas agreement with Israel. It is still unclear how the government in Amman will respond to Parliament's decision, which tends to pass symbolic anti-Israeli decisions.

"The majority voted in favor of sending an urgent appeal to the government," Speaker of Parliament Ataf Travana said in remarks on television. Lawmakers want the government to ban gas imports from Israel.
