A 46-year-old woman was moderately injured Saturday after allegedly being attacked by her husband at their home on the horizon. The suspect, a 48-year-old resident of the city, was arrested following a police investigation. MDA paramedics and paramedics who arrived at the scene gave her medical assistance and evacuated her to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva, with an injury to her upper body.
Police forces called to the scene found the woman on Four Seasons Street in the city, at Friendship Park. "Police officers who arrived at the scene opened an investigation into the incident from which it was suspected that the woman was attacked by her husband at her home and walked out," police said. The man was questioned on suspicion of committing the act and the investigation into his case is ongoing.
