The Super Bowl is the sporting event of the year in the United States. The match that defines the champion of the American Football League reaches millions of people around the world and that is why many brands choose the event to promote their products. This is the case of Jeep, who also took advantage of a very special tradition in the North American country, the "Groundhog Day", and summoned Bill Murray for a commercial in which the famous film that the actor starred almost thirty years ago is recreated years.

In the 1993 film, called just "Groundhog Day," Murray plays Phill Connors, a meteorologist from a Pittsburgh television channel who, while covering the celebrations of that American folklore party, gets caught in a time cycle. and lives the same day over and over again.

In the publicity, which premiered this Sunday morning, but will also be broadcast at night during the Super Bowl that Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will play, Murray wakes up and is annoying when he sees himself in the same situation movie. But when he meets the Jeep Gladiator, the vehicle that is the center of the ad, he happily agrees to live the "deja-vú". A groundhog is stolen and together they enjoy different experiences every time the day is repeated.

"There are not two equal days in a Jeep Gladiator," reads the end of the commercial, opposing the phrase with which the film was promoted, which said: "He is living the best day of his life ... over and over time".
