The plane of the company Air Canada on Monday made an emergency landing at the Adolfo Suarez-Madrid Barajas airport, after registering a technical problem at the time of takeoff.

The landing occurred at 19.08 (15.08 hours from Argentina) after the aircraft suffered damage to a wheel on takeoff and one of the engines.

In this way, the plane managed to reach the runway without one of the 10 wheels that the landing gear has and with the left engine off.

The aircraft was able to land after circling almost five hours south of Madrid to burn and drop fuel.

The Spanish Government Minister, José Luis Ábalos, said on Twitter that "the Air Canada plane has landed without incident." Congratulations to the pilot and the crew for their expertise. Huge work done by the members of the established device, "said the official.
