Sham Shui Po taxi driver robbed by neckband

At 2 am, a robbery occurred in Sham Shui Po. A taxi was reportedly taking a male passenger to Shek Kip Mei Market in Barwick Street near Cheung Sha Wan Road near Guilin Street. However, when the taxi reached the junction of Shek Kip Mei Road and Tai Po Road, the male passenger sitting in the back seat suddenly exposed the thief, hugged his neck to the driver, and scared him with a sharp knife. The driver entangled with the thief, and the thief failed to snatch the thief.

The driver tried to protect his belongings, but his hands were cut by a knife, and he reported himself for help. The police arrived at the scene and found no trace of the thief. The ambulanceman treated the driver's wound and was sent to Caritas Medical Centre for treatment. Sources at the scene said that the thief was about 20 years old and did not wear a mask when the incident occurred. For the sharp knife, the driver described it as being about 8 inches long and the blade was curved.
